Paula Fortin, NP
Paula Fortin is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She obtained her BSN from Winona State University and then moved to Alaska. She spent almost 16 years there working in Pediatric ICU, ER, and as a flight nurse before going back to school for her MSN. After receiving her MSN from University of Alaska, Anchorage, she worked in a midwifery and family health clinic until moving to MN in 2016. She joined New Kingdom at that time for about a year, and then has spent the last few years working for CVS Minute Clinic while enjoying time home with her son. She enjoys empowering people to make changes that will impact their entire wellbeing and health. She is also training to become a board certified nurse coach. She is excited to be back with New Kingdom and can’t wait to develop relationships with growing families and help them feel courageous in their healthcare choices.
When not working, she can be found chasing her son around outside and spending time with her hubby in the great outdoors. She also enjoys gardening, reading, walking, and spending time with family and friends.
