Kristofer is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) who also has his doctorate as a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) specializing in Healthcare Leadership. He graduated with his nurse practitioner degree (DNP-FNP) at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota. Kristofer previously worked as a medical-surgical and cardiac nurse at the University of Minnesota – East Bank Hospital. Kristofer‘s goal is to listen to the needs of his patients, as well as guide them in making decisions about their care or the care of their children. He understands the importance of providing patients with the resources and tools to better their health, including incorporating holistic options. He values working together with patients to provide a pathway to healing.
In his free time, Kristofer enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He enjoys camping and being outdoors. Kristofer has traveled to Haiti several times over the last decade, and the nurses with whom he worked there were his inspiration to become a nurse and continue his education as an FNP.
