Dr. Catharine Reed is board-certified in pediatrics. She did her pediatric residency at the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill 1986-89), and then went on to complete a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at the University of Minnesota (1989-92). She practiced as a neonatologist until 1997, at which time she transitioned to general pediatrics- a move which allowed her to balance life with three young children. She has particular interest in working with children who have OCD, ADHD and asthma. The greatest enjoyment in pediatrics is the relationships that she had developed with the children that she serves, as well as coming along side parents as they work to achieve a healthy lifestyle for their children. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband Dan, her three young adult children and her son-in-law. She also loves to travel, snorkel, read and meet with others to challenge herself and encourage them to be critical thinkers and to always continue to learn.
