Alissa is a board certified family nurse-practitioner. Alissa received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern College of Iowa and graduated Magna Cum Laude with her doctorate in nursing from The College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, MN. Alissa also has an extensive background as a nurse in both pediatric and adult specialty surgery.

Alissa enjoys getting to know her patients and families and being a resource for them as they achieve their own personal wellness goals. While enjoying all aspects of family medicine, she has particular interest in infant/newborn care, and diabetes and thyroid management. Alissa is open minded and believes that both natural and traditional medicine have a place in healing.

When not at work, Alissa is busy chasing after her two young children. She is a coffee connoisseur and enjoys running, family bike rides, boating, and attending any and all sporting events.
