Jaclyn Robles, PA

Good healthcare starts with a relationship. Beyond diagnosis and treatment, I strive to bring back heart, trust, and connection to the healthcare experience. I grew up in Grand Marais, Minnesota, a medically underserved rural community with health access challenges as the nearest specialty care is a two-hour drive. I apply my experience to my practice by holding space for patients and working with them to overcome barriers to care. It is important to me to improve the healthcare experience of those I treat, and I do so by advocating for, educating, and caring for those I serve. We are not our diagnoses; we are all whole and wonderful beings with goals and complex stories behind what brings us into the clinic. I work with my patients to understand what is important to them, what symptoms are reducing their quality of life, and put together a plan to optimize their health. My goal is to explore the root cause of symptoms, not only attempting to find quick solutions. As well as preventing disease, not just waiting to treat it.
My clinical background includes inpatient hospital medicine, malignant hematology and oncology at the University of Minnesota as well as acute care in rural Minnesota. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from Tarleton State University in Texas, earned my Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Bethel University, and am an Army veteran.
Outside of medicine, I am a music enthusiast, love gardening, and most of all I love being a wife and mom to my precious children. I have a six-year-old son Luca and a six-month-old daughter Rosie. Being a mother has provided me with a special appreciation for and empathetic perspective on family medicine and the importance of caring for the health and well-being of the whole family. I am available to see patients at all ages and stages and will hold space so you will feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely cared for.
