Midori is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and received her undergraduate degree with honors in biology from Georgia State University and obtained her Master of Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the #1 Nursing program in the country at Emory University. She relocated to Minnesota in the Fall of 2024 and is excited to work collaboratively with patients to take control of their health and wellness.
Midori is fluent in both English and Hmong. She is passionate about providing patient-centered, culturally responsive care that blends evidence-based medicine and integrative approaches. She believes in advocating for her patients, educating patients to make empowered and informed decisions, and creating a friendly, supportive environment for patients to explore their health journey.
Prior to becoming an FNP, Midori gained experience as a medical scribe in orthopedics, as a doula for birthing patients, as a registered nurse for traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury patients, and as a pastry chef at a bakery on the side. Outside of her practice, Midori enjoys baking, spending time with her dog, playing and watching sports, and traveling.
