Lisa Williams, APRN, MSN, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner, she has worked in the nursing field since 16 years of age in one capacity or another. She had been a nurse for 16 years prior to becoming a family nurse practitioner almost 10 years ago. As a nurse, Lisa worked in home care and hospice and general medical surgical. As a family nurse practitioner, Lisa has experience in integrative/functional medicine, women’s health/hormones, primary care, urgent care and sleep medicine. Lisa has a special interest in nutrition, weight management, metabolic syndrome, gut health, hormones, integrative/ functional medicine and women’s health.
Lisa received her LPN and BSN at Ridgewater College in Minnesota and Masters degree at Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky.
Lisa believes that preventative care, nutrition, and a healthy diet and lifestyle are the cornerstones for top quality medical care and feeling your best. She believes in non-judgmental care and meeting patients where they are at on their healthcare continuum. Her goal is to treat the root cause of disease rather than treating symptoms.
In her spare time Lisa likes to hike, travel, landscape, DIY home improvement projects and read. Lisa’s pride and joy is her family and she loves spending time with them.
